Texas District 38
The newest Congressional district in Texas is the 38th. It occupies around 18% of Harris County's total land area and is situated in the northwest of the county. A sizable amount of Tomball, Cypress, Jersey Village, Katy, Klein, Memorial Villages, and various other Houston neighborhoods are included.
Population
The population of CD38 was 783,719 in 2021, and makes up 16.5% of the total population of Harris County. The ethnic makeup of CD38 is as follows: 53% White, 27% Hispanic, 15.9% Mixed Race, 8.9% Asian, 7.9% Other, 10% Black.

There are 8 school districts in CD38: Cy-Fair ISD, Tomball ISD, Klein ISD, Spring Branch ISD, Katy ISD, Houston ISD, Waller ISD, Alief ISD
Lone Star College (University Park and Tomball campuses), Houston Community College (Spring Branch campus), and Strayer University are also CD38.
